The automatic inspection captures images of the front and back of the tablets flowing in parallel on a conveyor belt using a line camera, and processes the images on a computer to detect defects in the tablets. Since the tablets are transported in parallel on the conveyor belt, there is minimal destruction of tablets during inspection, and it is also easy to integrate into a visual inspection line.
